Where do you put your wedding potrait? What's the practice in Singapore?

Yes where? I know many people put it above their bed, but isnt that a passe traditional?
Kim is having a headache on deciding where to put it.
Her hubby is "anything also can one" kind..... she didnt even want to hang it anywhere near her master bedroom.
But her MIL sort of "mentioned" she should hang it above her bed like everyone else!
Of course she's not doing that but now she kept thinking that might upset her in-laws.

Told her maybe it's just an opinion, her MIL is expressing, she wouldnt be upset over this potrait thingie right?
..... it's such a small thing! But we never know.

More wedding news!!!!

Real estate tycoon Cecil Chao was reported to be stunned by the global reaction to his offer of HK$500 million or S$80 million to any man who could win his daughters heart! His daughter had just married her gf in France. Now even Sacha Baron Cohen was reported to be very interested & inspired into making a movie title: The lesbian!

I just feel bad for his daughter. She was reported saying" why does Chinese society accept & glorify a man choosing to have 5 wives but not a woman choosing not to have a husband!"........... well said!!!
You have my support girl !!!

In Singapore do we send thank you cards after wedding?

See this is the topic that Kim  & her husband being on for weeks now.
They just got back from their long honeymoon.
And now in the process of opening wedding presents.
So the question is do they send thank you notes to those who gave them presents.
In western countries they do that (well that's what we saw in the movies right...lol...?)
And how about those who only gave ang pows?
Kim wanted to send, me for it too,
But her hubby said 'no need'. In Singapore no one does that, It'll be so pretentious he said ..lol...
Hmmm.... guys !!!!! But will it be rude then?
